1. About DiscoverIQ

DiscoverIQ is a visibility scoring service operated by Hill Country Insights LLC, a Texas limited liability company. DiscoverIQ analyzes business websites and produces scores reflecting how well a business appears in traditional search engines and AI-powered recommendation tools. By using DiscoverIQ, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Proprietary Scoring Methodology

DiscoverIQ scores are produced using a proprietary methodology, algorithm, and weighting system developed and owned by Hill Country Insights LLC. This system evaluates a range of signals across both traditional search engine optimization factors and AI visibility factors. The methodology, individual weights, and scoring logic are confidential and are not disclosed to users.

The scoring system is updated periodically as new data, research, and changes in search engine and AI behavior become available. Scores produced at different points in time may reflect these updates in addition to any changes made to the website being analyzed.

3. Score Variance

Visibility scores can vary between runs. This is expected and reflects the nature of how search engines and AI tools index, rank, and recall information. Factors outside the control of DiscoverIQ or the business owner — including changes in search engine algorithms, AI training data, and the behavior of third-party query tools — can influence scores from one run to the next. A difference in scores between runs does not indicate an error in the DiscoverIQ system.

4. Free Score

Each email address is entitled to one free score. Free scores are tracked by email address. Attempting to circumvent this limit by using multiple email addresses is a violation of these Terms. Hill Country Insights LLC reserves the right to discontinue access to the free tier at any time.

5. Access and Term

Access to your scores and report is granted for a period of one year from the date of your free score or purchase, whichever occurred most recently. After this period, access to your results may no longer be available. Hill Country Insights LLC is not obligated to store or make available results beyond this term.

6. No Guarantee of Results

DiscoverIQ scores and recommendations are provided for informational purposes. Implementing recommended changes may improve your visibility in search engines and AI tools, but Hill Country Insights LLC makes no guarantee of increased traffic, leads, rankings, or revenue. Search engine and AI ranking systems are operated by third parties and are subject to change without notice.

Content recommendations included in paid reports are based on information available from your website at the time of the score run. These recommendations may require editing, updating, or professional review before use. Hill Country Insights LLC is not responsible for the accuracy of information inferred from your website.

7. Payments and Refunds

All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. DiscoverIQ offers one-time purchases for the Full Improvement Plan package. Because these are digital deliverables generated specifically for your website, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued once a score has been run and results have been delivered.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery of your results, please contact us at contact@hillcountryinsights.com and we will make it right.

8. Email and Communications

By providing your email address, you agree to receive your DiscoverIQ results and occasional updates from Hill Country Insights LLC. Your email address will never be sold or shared with third parties. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link included in any email we send.

9. Intellectual Property

The DiscoverIQ scoring methodology, algorithm, weighting system, software, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Hill Country Insights LLC. You may not reverse engineer, reproduce, or distribute any part of the DiscoverIQ system without written permission.

Scores and reports generated for your website are licensed to you for your own internal business use. You may share your report with your internal team and consultants only. Sharing or distributing your full report beyond your internal team and consultants is not permitted.

You may share your DiscoverIQ scores (SEO Score, Neighborhood AI Score, and Overall Local Visibility Score) publicly as a representation of your business's visibility. If you would like to display your scores as a badge or marketing asset, please submit a request to contact@hillcountryinsights.com for review and approval. Hill Country Insights LLC reserves the right to approve or decline any public use of DiscoverIQ scores or branding.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hill Country Insights LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of DiscoverIQ, including any reliance on scores, recommendations, or content produced by the service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

Hill Country Insights LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the DiscoverIQ site, scores, or reports after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Data and Privacy

DiscoverIQ collects your email address and the website URL you submit for the purpose of delivering your scores and report, and for occasional updates from Hill Country Insights LLC. We do not collect any other personal information.

Your email address is stored securely and will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at contact@hillcountryinsights.com.

The websites analyzed by DiscoverIQ are evaluated using publicly available information. No private or proprietary data from those websites is stored beyond what is necessary to generate and deliver your scores and report.
